Welcome to Bar Key! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bar Key mobile app (“App”), operated by Bar Key, a sole proprietorship (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, downloading, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use Bar Key. The App provides information about alcoholic beverages, and you’re responsible for complying with your local drinking age laws.
Purchase and Access
Bar Key is a paid app. Once purchased through the applicable app store (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play), there are no additional in-app payments or subscriptions.
Refunds are handled by the app store’s policies, not us.
User Accounts
To post recipes, message users, or use social features, you must create an account with a valid email and/or phone number.
You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
We may suspend or delete accounts at our discretion, especially for violating these Terms.
User-Generated Content
You can create and share cocktail recipes and event details (“User Content”). By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and distribute it within the App.
Don’t post misleading, offensive, or illegal content (e.g., copyrighted recipes without permission). We moderate content and may remove it or ban users without notice or explanation if it violates these Terms.
Your username is stamped on your recipes. Other users can view and like them. Upon account deletion, your content may remain unless you request removal by emailing [email protected].
Prohibited Conduct
No harassing, spamming, or sending inappropriate messages; impersonating others; or attempting to hack or scrape the App.
Events Section
You may post events, but we don’t process payments or verify their accuracy. We’re not responsible for event conduct or outcomes. Attend at your own risk.
Search Functions
The App offers unique recipe searches by ingredients or spirits. We don’t guarantee their accuracy or safety—verify recipes yourself.
Intellectual Property
The App, its design, and pre-loaded recipes are owned by us or our licensors. You can’t copy or reproduce them without permission.
Termination
We can suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms.
You can delete your account anytime via App settings.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Bar Key is provided “as is.” We’re not liable for damages from using the App, including incorrect recipes, misuse of content, or user interactions, to the fullest extent allowed by California law.
Users assume all risks related to alcohol consumption.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Check here for the latest version. Continued use means you accept changes.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Edit or delete your posts in the App.
Delete your account anytime via settings.

If you’re a California resident, you have the right to:
